During the late 18 hundreds in American the mantra was "Go West"! Many did and found their dreams, other did not and found ultimate disaster. George Zweck partially found his dreams and left an improbable legacy: a farm. This farm is still there today called the Zweck-Lemmon Farm in Little Thompson Valley. George struck it rich with a gold mine whose proceeds he invested in a cattle ranch. The ranch was hit by a terrible blizzard that destroyed him financially. His family ultimately bought the farm back and its barn is a landmark in the area.
