Can a four story barn be dismantled over the summer, by one man? Fifty Nine year old Richard Ciarcia, of Livermore is planning on using the materials to build a barn or garage on his nearby property. Ciarcia began workin on the project since late spring, apparently. Since the closing of Wausau Paper's Otis Mill in Jay was announced. Ciarcia viewed the opportunity to take on the dismantling of the mill at the chance, as a big summer chore.
I would sure like to know if it can be done, as I want to do the same thing. How would you reach the roof beams and bring them down? I see on the web that dismatlers use crains, as they are very high up on just on a 1 story with a loft, 4 story ?????
