A legislation was signed by Governor Chris Christie granting the use of $10 million to preserve 58 historic sites in the Garden State. Barns were the center of families, especially those relies on farming as their livelihood. Old barns are practically not used as they were before but it may have sentimental and historical value not just for the family but for the community who sees it regularly as well. Without proper care, maintenance, or restoration, structures that are centuries old will simply give up with time compounded by the harsh forces of nature. Like what happened to the century old barn in Silver Creek, in Nebraska. It was built in 1910 and finally gave up last June 19.Link: Century Old Barn Takes Final Bow | TheFencePost.com
