link to the past provided by a barn

Standing some several hundred feet off of Oconto County, is a stone sentinel that will, one day, form the centerpiece of a town park, as well as an historic agricultural museum. That is of course, if a committee of some dedicated volunteers has anything to say about the situation.

The barn is one hundred and six years old, and it is the very last of the buildings that are standing on the land that had been farmed by Daniel Krause. This man was a prominent early citizen of the town, who had lived there from 1870 to 1920.
